Food processors face two overlapping requirements: keep metal out of the product, and prove that the control is in place. Importers and retailers increasingly ask for documented checks, which makes the design of the separator part of the compliance story rather than just a piece of hardware.
Hygienic design starts with materials and finish. Product-contact surfaces in stainless steel, smooth welds and no crevices where powder can accumulate keep cleaning realistic on a production schedule, and magnetic cores that can be withdrawn and wiped let operators verify capture without dismantling the line.
Placement matters as much as strength. Separators belong where metal is most likely to enter and where removal is simplest: at intake, after milling or mixing, and immediately before packing. A single unit at the end of the line removes metal but leaves it in the process equipment for most of the run.
We build food-grade units with the cleaning routine in mind and supply the documentation pack that supports your own HACCP or import paperwork. Tell us the product, the line layout and the checkpoint you need to satisfy, and we will specify the housing and the cleaning access around it.
